Community Messiah Sing-Along

Sing. Celebrate. Kick Off the Holidays.

There's nothing quite like singing Handel's Messiah with hundreds of voices ringing through the hall.

Whether you've sung Messiah dozens of times or have always wanted to give it a try, this joyful afternoon is for everyone. Bring your own score or borrow one at the door, find a seat among friends old and new, and become part of the chorus.

You'll be joined by a chamber ensemble from I Cantori's professional orchestra and led by Music Director Daniel Henriks in one of Monterey County's favorite holiday traditions.

Come a little early to enjoy hot cocoa, mulled wine, spiked apple cider, holiday cookies, and plenty of festive cheer. Feeling extra merry? Wear your favorite Santa hat, elf ears, or holiday sweater. We even award a prize for the best festive outfit!

This year we're once again partnering with the Monterey County Food Bank. Collection bins will be available throughout the venue for donations of canned and dried goods, so please consider bringing an item or two to help support local families during the holiday season.

No auditions. No pressure. Just great music, wonderful company, and an afternoon that will leave you smiling all the way home.
