2016 Tour: Spain & Portugal, June 11-24

I Cantori members toured Spain and Portugal in 2016. Performances and workshops were conducted in Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, and Sintra (Lisbon). Many photos and stories were posted on our Facebook page. 

2012 Tour: Poland, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, June 14-Jul 1

This tour was from June 14 to July 1, 2012. It began in Krakow, Poland, and travelled through Germany and into Belgium and ended in Amsterdam. Along the way, we sang in 8 formal and informal concerts, one or two in conjunction with local choirs. We sang in Bach's St. Thomas Church in Leipzig and a church service in the Cologne Cathedral. We visited a historic salt mine that has a concert hall in it (and, of course, sang in it), visited Auschwitz, Muskauer Castle (photo), spent time in Berlin and Bruges, and in general had a grand time.

Powerscourt House and Gardens, Trinity College’s “Book of Kells”, Monasterboice, St. Patrick’s Trian, the Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-a-rede Bridge, Old Bushmills Distillery Tour, Kylemore Abbey and Gardens, the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Center, Muckross House, Derrynane House, Waterford Crystal Factory Tour, The Rock of Cashel, Kilkenny Castle, Conwy Castle, Bodnant Gardens, Ffestiniog Railway Ride, Cardiff Castle, Tintern Abbey and Windsor Castle

2006 Tour: Italy & Croatia

Highlights: 7 performances in Croatia and southern Italy, concluding with a performance in St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican. Sight-seeing in Opatija, Dubrovnik, Palermo, Siracusa, Pompeii and Rome.

Tour 2003: Scandinavia & The Baltic States

Concerts and sight-seeing in Stockholm Sweden, Helsinki Finland, Parnu and Tallinn Estonia, St. Petersburg and Vyborg Russia, Riga Latvia, and Copenhagen Denmark.

Tour 2000: Prague to Paris

Stops included Budapest and Luxembourg.

Tour 1997: Austria, Italy, France & Germany

In 1997 I Cantori toured Austria, Italy, France and Germany. The choir sang Mass in the Cathedral of Santo Maria Del Fiore in Florence, the Basilica del Santo Antonio in Padova, St. Andra Church in Salzburg, and the
Strasbourg Cathedral. Concerts were held in St. Canisius Church in Vienna, in the Basilica S. Maria Gloriosa dei Frari in Venice, and St. George's Church in Neustift.

Tour 1994: Great Britain

Performances in St. Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh, Salisbury Cathedral, Worcester Cathedral, Ripon Cathedral, Great St. Mary's Church in Cambridge, and St. James's Church, Piccadilly, in London. We shared a concert in Harrow with the Apollo Male Voice Choir, and joined with choruses from around the world in the International Church Music Festival at St. Michael's Cathedral in Coventry.
