We welcome back this year our former conductor, Sal Ferrantelli, and our former accompanist, Pauline Troia, and Ensemble Monterey's David Dally is bringing an orchestra!

THE MESSIAH, Handel's most successful and best-known oratorio, was composed in the year 1741 in twenty-four days, from August the 22nd to September the 14th. It was first performed at a concert given for charitable purposes at Dublin, Ireland, on April the 13th, 1742, with Handel conducting the performance in person.
