Concerts

I Cantori presents concerts in the Fall (2 or 3 performances in December) and Spring (2 or 3 performances in early May) each season. Our programs include major choral works as well as lesser-known jewels of the choral repertoire. The concerts usually feature professional soloists and an ensemble of musicians.

Registration

I Cantori is listed as an advanced chorus class at Monterey Peninsula College. Our rehearsal schedule roughly follows the academic year; we begin rehearsals in late August for the Winter concert, break for approximately one month, and begin rehearsals in January for the Spring concert. Each member of I Cantori is required to register with MPC.

Rehearsals

Weekly rehearsals are on Wednesday nights. As concert time nears, additional rehearsals are often scheduled, usually on Monday nights. Regular attendance at rehearsals is a must.
