I Cantori di Carmel is a volunteer chorus with the mission of seeking excellence in choral performance in Monterey County. The program concerts present great choral works from past and present with orchestra and soloists. I Cantori di Carmel, bringing choral classics to the Monterey Peninsula since 1981, performs twice annually, in Winter and Spring, at the Carmel Mission Basilica, as well as various other venues throughout the year. I Cantori di Carmel is also proud to sponsor choral workshops yearly in October or November, which are open to all interested musicians.  Membership in I Cantori di Carmel is by audition only. A Sing-Along Handel Messiah was jointly presented by I Cantori di Carmel and the Carmel Mission directed by Sal Ferrantelli on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. We thank all those who came, sang, and donated. Watch for this pre-Advent Messiah again in Fall 2009.
